The winners of Fast Company’s 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards were announced today, highlighting fresh sustainability initiatives, cutting-edge AI and privacy developments, ambitious pursuits of social equity, and other creative projects that are helping mold the world.
Cloaked, the all-in-one, consumer-first privacy platform, was recognized by Fast Company in the ninth annual awards for its commitment to upholding privacy as a human right by putting individuals in control of what and how they share personal information. Through Cloaked’s technology, subscribers can create unlimited, secure identities, such as working phone numbers, emails, usernames, passwords, and payment methods. It provides information storage, password management, and batch replacement of vulnerable information with AutoCloak™. Most recently, Cloaked added Identity Theft Protection insurance and has a number of new features set to launch in the coming months.
This year’s World Changing Ideas Awards showcase 50 winners, 127 finalists, and 172 honorable mentions—with health, education, energy, and AI among the most popular categories. A panel of Fast Company editors and reporters selected winners from a pool of more than 1,300 entries across climate, social justice, wellness, politics, technology, corporate social responsibility, and more.
“It’s an honor for our team to receive this recognition from Fast Company and further highlights the important work we have to reimagine privacy today,” said Arjun Bhatnagar, Co-founder and CEO of Cloaked. “With a privacy-first approach to innovation, we will be able to help protect personal identities and reshape how we all access, use and think about data.”
“I was struck this year by the global sweep of the honorees,” says Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan. “It’s endlessly inspiring to see how the world is coming together to devise inventive solutions to our most challenging problems. We need ideas from everywhere, and this year’s World Changing Ideas Awards are an extraordinary encapsulation of the innovation and creativity that is so abundant around the globe.”
